LISTEN!HADES
Characters in the Hades or 'Death' side of Listen

# Mantis - The main antagonist of Listen(!!) Mantis is the modernized version of Hades, The Lord of the dead and being such a thing isn't always a thrill. Mantis is mean spirited, conniving, manipulative and just an out right asshole when he wants to be. He begins to have a slight obsession with collecting souls which starts to unbalance the wave of life and death, causing the events of Listen(!!) to take place. When he takes the soul of someone Sho'Nuff holds dear, Sho makes a deal with Mantis in order to help Mantis and his collection. Why Mantis has grown this obsession is unknown but it becomes more dangerous as time goes on.

He is the final boss to the majority of characters in Listen!Hades. His attacks are wild, random and fast. Mantis has the power to control the dead, darkness, along with taking and using souls to his advantage. This is only the peak of his power.

* Sho'Nuff - The lead character of Listen!! As all stories generally link to his. When Mantis makes a deal with Sho' over the soul of a person he most cares about. He becomes an assassin to help Mantis retreve more souls. As his story goes on, Sho begins to learn that Mantis has more up his sleeve then he put on and that he may have been double crossed.

* FooRay - The guardian to the underworld and also the right hand man of Mantis. Behind his enchanting smile and charisma. He is powerful and dark entity that should not be taken lightly. His origin is currently unknown but it is hinted by Seth that FooRay was the only soul Mantis couldn't obtain even tho  he was dead. FooRay is a recurring boss in Listen(!!) and portrays a variety of one hit kill moves. He can manipulate both fire and darkness.

* Raphpunzel Jackson - A queen in her own right. Raphpunzel is a sensual femme fatale whose beauty is matched only by her ruthlessness to rule the under world. She acts as Mantis' other right hand in the underworld in order to eventually rule over it (with or without him) Punzel does not let anything stand in her way to jeopardize this dream, thus she does all she can to keep 'certain things' away from Mantis.

* Gaijin Kokujin - A lost soul looking for redemption. Kokujin aids Sho'Nuff in his quest with hopes to redeem his own soul as well. Minor dialogue but extensive power, Kokujin keeps his lifeless eyes hidden under the rim of his hat so that no one can see the pain he suffers day in and day out. Unlike any of the other soul, Kokujin can leave the underworld and walk the ground of mortals for a lengthy amount of time. It is rumored he holds the Key to Armageddon but weather its true or not is totally unknown.

* Jordan Belmont - Dating the God of the Underworld is not an easy task and Jordan knows first hand. Their on again off again relationship is actually what starts about the story of Listen(!!) as Mantis acts out in rage over an argument they previously had. Sho'Nuff seeks Jordan in hopes that she can persuade Mantis into giving back the soul of his loved one.

* Fyu - This gun tootin, intelligence officer, sex kitten, and leader of a secret organization can be your uprising or downfall. Fyu is the co-owner of an adult club called 'The Pink Persian' and holds the information anyone would need to know about Seth and Mantis. She is sought out by all characters
and becomes an important asset to the story.

* Regg - Not much is known about Regg other than he is another strong soul located in the Underworld. His story intertwines with Cressida hinting that she may have been the cause of his death or is a link to it.

* Kiara - Kiara jumps in the story as one of Jordan's homegirls. While Jordan is more nonchalant and mean spirited. Kiki is calculating and loud and like Kokujin, can walk both the underworld and mortal world for periods of time. She gives Sho'Nuff a run for his money when he tries to take Jordan back to the Underworld, and shows her explosive power when she turns the mall into a man eating black hole. Kiara is a boss battle that involves thinking and being quick, because, most of her attacks are one hitter quitters.

* Mibu - A ninja located on the highest mountain peaks of the Underworld. Not much is known, but he is soon sought out by Sho'Nuff for information. Mibu's story origin is connected to Kaidou's.

* Quikz - Quikz fights only to test his and his opponent's strength. This means that he will only fight opponents that will provide a challenge. He is labeled the strongest mortal alive by humans and demons alike. Quikz became obsessed with pursuing forbidden energies in search of invulnerability and once he hears that Sho'Nuff is the link to traveling between the Underworld and Mortal world, he seeks him out. Quikz later joins the quest, to have complete balance of physical and mental power.

LISTEN!ZEUS
Characters in the Zeus or 'Life' side of Listen

# Seth - The other leading antagonist of Listen(!!) The modernized version of Zeus. Seth resides in the light filled, <bullshit>holy</bullshit> place of Olympus. Seth has a quiet, cute, but heartless  personality. There are only a hand full of things he cares about and everything else to him is expendable, including human life to an extent, but he a bit more understanding and nicer than Mantis. While Mantis is out on his rampage soul obsession. Seth, the only person that can really stop him, does nothing. He simply doesn't care. This gives reason that maybe their in on this together somehow or Seth is covering up for Mantis in some way. When Baker Boi tries to stop Mantis, Seth steps in, resulting in Boi to lose most of his powers. He has a fascination with electronics, electricity and metal. Seth's moods can also alter the weather.

He is the final boss to the majority of characters in Listen!Zeus. While he waits for you to attack him, he calculates moves and is quick to dodge and teleport. His attacks involve flying, electricity, sound waves, metal, wires, and everything that goes along with those. He can form mechas out scrap parts laying around and use them to attack. This is only a small percentage of his power.

* Baker Boi - The lead second lead character in Listen!! Appointed by Seth, Baker Boi is the official protector of earth. He has a power called 'Oni Breaker' that is much like a second personality and together, they make sure everything is well into balance. When Mantis begins to steal souls for a unknown reason, Baker is worried but when Mantis takes the soul of those close to him, Baker feels that he has to stop him and in the mist of battle, confronted by Seth. Things get heated when Baker Boi argues with Seth that what Mantis is doin is unjust and Seth gives him the option that he can continue to let Mantis do what he do, or be punished for his 'betrayal'. Feeling betrayed himself, Baker turns on Seth. Seth exiles Baker from both Olympus and the Underworld, leaving Baker pretty much with just his power of Oni Breaker and nothing much more. Baker soon goes on a search to confront both Seth and Mantis and get back the souls unjustly lost.  
    
* P2 - Seth's right hand man. P2 is sent out to make sure Baker Boi isn't causing any trouble. P2 confronts Boi and Bishop as they search for the Key to Essence (the exact opposite of the Key to Armageddon) which they believe is a way to access both Olympus and Underworld; only to be told by P2 that both aren't actual items, their more like energy. P2 also reveals that in order to pass through both places you need a special soul. When the boys believe that P2 possess this special soul they need. It's a 2 on 1 battle.

* Cressida - A pirate also in search for both the Key to Essence and the Key to Armageddon. Cressida proves to be apathetic towards Boi's cause but decides to help out for her own personal purposes. It is hinted, that she once had a partner, Regg; and that maybe she is looking for the keys in order to bring him back to life. Her soul is taken by Mantis after a battle with Jenee giving Boi and Bishop access to the Underworld, where they meet her and Regg in a 2 on 2 battle. Her strong soul gave her the ability to keep her physical form in the underworld. She later becomes an ally of Seth's.

* Jenee Brooks - Jenee is Seth's apprentice. She is the youngest character in Listen(!!) by being the age of 15, but that doesn't mean she can't fight. Jenee is a recurring boss as well as messenger of Seth. Her quirky, loud and hard headed attitude makes her hard to work with but she is loyal which makes her reliable. Due to her personality and close brother/sister relationship with Seth, its easy to get her pissed by talking about him. She argues that Seth's apathy towards Mantis' cause is just, because "Mantis is a grown ass man. Seth is not his daddy"

* Bishop - Once a holy man, now a trained assassin. Bishop changed his ways when he was on the verge of death after a brutal murder. When Mantis came to claim his soul, Seth argued that it wasn't his time and that he was done wrong. Seth gave Bishop life again, to take revenge on his murders. This, did more harm than good. Slowly, Bishop's mind is turning and losing sight of humanity. He aids Baker Boi in finding the Key to Essence and Armageddon.

* Raien - During the infamous soul onslaught, Raien made a deal with Seth, that Seth would protect him and his loved one from Mantis' wrath. This was something Seth couldn't control but said 'He'd try' anyways. When the time had came, things did not go easy resulting in the lost of his loved one. Feeling hurt and betrayed Raien felt he had nothing much to live for after losing the person close to his heart. Once a cheerful man was now a shell of his former self. He later helps Baker Boi in attempt to get to Olympus.

* Kristi Belle - If it's not one girl it's another. Kristi is another one of Jordan's homegirls that bridge the gap between Listen!Hades and Listen!Zeus. Unlike other characters, her boss isn't Seth nor Mantis. In both stories, Kristi aids Sho'Nuff and Baker Boi and leads them to Fyu. She is humble and soft spoken but is a fierce fighter.

* Kaidou - The legendary dragon guardian of Olympus. Kaidou guards Olympus from anyone who may wonder towards it's gates. He is peaceful, sweet and light hearten but is much threat in his dragon form. He is one of the most powerful in the story and one serious boss fight to handle. When asked to leave the gates of Olympus, Kaidou simply replies that it is his place, and he full accepts this responsbility. His story is linked to Mibu who resides in the Underworld.

* Ortania - Is a highly successful fashion model who graced the covers of countless magazines, but she holds a secret that Baker Boi needs in order to confront Seth. Its reveal that Ortania sides with Seth and thus she becomes a wrench in Baker Boi's plans. Not much else is known.

* Vertigo - He is the second to last opponent for all the characters in the story. He is best friends to Mantis and Seth and thus feels he cannot let anyone stop them from what their doing, although indifferent at the same time. V keeps a cool and calm attitude with a devilish smirk behind each and every sentence that you don't know to trust or not. If his boss battle wasn't tough enough, he has a health regeneration ability.
