May 25, 2008 [11:36 am] - Hey funky bitchhhesssss! Deadline for the contest is tonight at 12 am pacific. which is 3 am eastern and everyone else falls inbetween. yes east coast gets an extension becuz we're so fly *pops collar*

Winners will be announceeddd....................Tommorrow around...i unno. but sometime tommorrow. I'd like to go ahead and think everyone that entered! i hope this turns into a big thing and also there is a new rule.

for those that don't make it in the first cycle. You will be able to re-use your characters (and profiles) for the second cycle. cept the 2nd cycle will be co-ed. so yea guys and girls. also. if anyone feels that they should have been in the cycle because of *whatever* then jus go ahead and kiss my round ass. im not dealin with that drama and the contest isn't that serious.

but please people, this contest is gonna more than likely be summer long (one challenge a week, 13 people to vote off. do the math.) so please i hope you call concidered that you actually have DEADLINES. but i guess it wont be that much of a big deal concidering that backgrounds will be pre-made. o__o;...

May 19, 2008 [02:39 am] - Hey ya'll~ We now have a winner for the runner up! *auperidot has volunteered to draw a picture for the Runner up! Maybe some more prizes will be added, we don't know. But yes thats about it for right now, The goal is still to have 18 auditions before theeee...what did i say? *scrolls down* 25th. Ya still got time. If anyone would like to add any prizes to the Grand or Runner up, feel free to send me a note. We also may do 'Special' Challenges as well but thats still an idea in the making.

Also, if this goes well there will be a Cycle 2 and that will have males and females. but lets just see how this goes first.

First of all: Please do NOT be offended if i do not comment on yer submissions. Its not like im gettin a handful all at once, but it'd be very redundant commenting. "COOL DESIGN!" blahblahblah. So i'll jus be collecting them to my 'KNTM Auditions' folder instead. Also, I'm gonna allow transvestites. ONLY if they resemble more female than male. No gay guys allowed, just. Trannies. yes i know that sounded mean. but i couldn't think of a nicer way to say it concidering my current mood. anyways im off to bed, i was suppose to be sleep an hour ago but i got caught up packing cause im moving into a new place <3 nite ya'll

May 18, 2008 [02:39 am] - Answering more questions here; I'm gonna allow anthros. I prefer human-ish charactersss....so yeea. if you just can't draw a decent human being to save yer life, then resort to other. Its not that i have anything against em, but ya'know. things can get farfetched when you have to deal with demon wings and cat tails and all this. I like to think realisticly most of the time when it comes to these things. So yea, Humans first but if your not pleased then resort to your normal style. This does not effect elves tho. cuz the only difference between them and humans are the ears and ears aren't a issue. tis when you got to deal with tails, furry legs and animal ears. <3 just keep that in mind.

May 17, 2008 [10:31 am] - Added a 'KNTM Auditions' folder to my favorites. Also. New rule: You may submit more than one character. That way it'll be easier to reach atleast 18 auditions to keep the contest going.

~PshYcHo-MaNtIs gave me the idea to do an 'ANTM' style contest. just for fun mostly but the grand prize is a picture drawn and colored by me and a 3 month subscription.

this is how it goes.

from now (May 16th) until May 25th, we'll have 'Auditions'

Auditions
Goal: Draw a simple, colored picture of your (or one of) original character. A full body profile of your character in everyday clothing. Nothing spectacular, nothing flashing. Just some jeans and a t-shirt or whatever your character would wear on the normal bases. In the description include:

Name.
Age.
Height.
Weight.
Hobbies.

and anything else you feel would be good information. please no life stories.

when the Auditions are over with, me and the judges will choose 13 characters, ya'll will be Noted and thats when the real challenges begain.

Challenges
After the 13 characters are chosen, each Monday (for the next 12 weeks) there will be an art challenge and a due date. you must fulfil this challenge (which is pretty much, we give you an idea and such and you draw your character, color and work with it) and you will be judged.

All challenges will come with a background for you to work with so that you don't have to struggle making backgrounds or anything. Moreso cause I'd like everyone to have the same background, different character. I'll be posting the background along with the challenge and yeah you work with it. Just worry about making your character look good and do what you have to do to pass.

What if your Digital Art savvy at all?
So? Don't worry about it! If you can somehow imulate the bg presented from the challenge onto the picture via colorpencil, marker or however you do it. then thats fine!

but if worst comes worst, we wont mind adding the bg for you. but lemme warn you

traditional coloring and digital bgs, do not mix unless done correctly and intentionally.

Deadlines
If you cannot seem to get your submission in on time, please note me hours in advanced of the deadline. you may or maynot get an extension (i understand if you got work or somethin important came up in the family like a birthday party or somethin. this isn't that serious XD)

But if no excuse is given or its a poor excuse, you...will have some bad judging.

Judging
There will be 2 judgings. One, the judges...will judge and Two, there will be polls for 'Viewers Choice'

Judging will take place the next day after deadlines are met. The winner and the one getting voted off, will be announced the next day after that.

Contestants
1 Character per Person.
FAN/ORIGINAL CHARACTERS ONLY!
And female. (and i mean a female character, not the artist has to be female)

We'll do a co-ed one on cycle 2 or somethin.

Character must be over the age of 17, due to American pedo laws.

The Prizes?

Sadly there wont be no weekly challenge winner because im broke, id like to give em a one month sub but i don't get paid weekly LOL

Seriously tho, if there aren't atleast...ima say....18 Auditions by the 25th, then im pulling the contest alltogether. its no fun if theres only like...6 people entering...DO FOR THE FUN.
